I think segregation is happening so early because it’s being taught at a young age so it doesn’t seem weird when segregation is put into place later in life.
It is taking opportunity away from children just because of their language, skin color, family or economic life. It’s damaging to society because it is taking away a proper education from people who may be smart enough to invent new things or cure diseases, just because they weren’t born into money. It’s damaging to the people and families too because they don’t get a chance to move up in the world - they say you need money to make money.
Marrying young is not the end of my freedom. It means I want to travel and see the world, but with her by my side. It means I still like drinking in bars and dancing in clubs, but stumbling home with her at 2am and eating pizza in our underwear. It means I know that I want to kiss those lips every morning, and every night before bed. If you see marriage as the end of your ‘freedom’, you’re doing it wrong.
